Yamanashi Medical Device Corridor (MDC) is Japan’s premier,

In 2020, the prefectural government launched its Medical Device Corridor initiative, designed to harness the region’s technological strength to drive Japan’s MedTech sector forward. 

Medical Device Corridor Center (MDCC), established and operated by the prefectural government, supports innovators at every stage of their journey. To ensure smooth entry into the Japanese market for foreign businesses, MDCC provides business-matching services across the entire supply chain—from component and material manufacturers to OEM/ODM partners and finished-product manufacturers. MDCC’s support spans everything from identifying user needs and connecting with expert fabricators, to arranging clinical trials, securing patents, and developing sales channels.
