Hello everyone! My name is Jia Man Lin. Born in China, raised in Canada. I double majored in Criminology and Psychology at the University of Toronto, so it is not hard to imagine me watching all the episodes of CSI and Law & Order. I enjoy learning languages. I am working on my Japanese and would love to pick up more French along the way. I also love traveling and photography. During my one year as an exchange student in Japan, I visited over 30 cities in Hokkaido, Kanto, Kansai, Shikoku, Chugoku, Kyushu and Okinawa, and collected countless shots in my camera.

Hello everyone ! I’m Victor Balsan, and I have been a Coordinator for International Relations in Yamanashi since August 2009!
I come from Paris, France, where I had been studying Japanese Language and Civilisation at Paris 7 University. I graduated with a masters degree in June 2009.
I now work at the Yamanashi International Centre, where I learn new things everyday. My job consists of helping Yamanashi locals and foreigners to interact with each other, and facilitating communication between Yamanashi and other countries, particularly France. In this sense, Yamanashi Prefecture's website is a unique opportunity to share with you the wonderful aspects of my new home.
Don’t hesitate to surf around our home page. You will be able to find a lot of information about the prefecture, its places of interest, foreigner life, relationships with other countries, etc. You can also contact us for any questions or suggestions.
See you in Yamanashi!!

Muito Prazer! My name is Cristina Masago and I am Yamanashi's Brazilian Coordinator for International Relations. Having been born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, I am a Brazilian of Japanese descent. Ever since I was little, I had grown up in close contact with the Japanese culture thanks to my grandparents. Brazil, the land where I was born and raised, and Japan, the country of my roots, are both very important places for me. Even though Brazil is the farthest country from Japan, there are many points of contact that I hope to show everybody. It's nice meeting you all!

Aloha, I am Jeffrey Fang, the Yamanashi Prefectural Office's American Coordinator for International Relations. I was born in Taiwan, raised in Taiwan, California, and Hawaii. For my undergraduate degree, I studied second language teaching and translation. I love learning languages, traveling, making friends from all kinds of different backgrounds. If you have any questions about living, studying, or traveling abroad, I will be more than happy to share my experience with you. I am very exited to meet you all and to learn more about Yamanashi.

Hello! My name is Jihe Kim and I am from Chungcheongbuk Province, Korea, which is a Sister State of Yamanashi Prefecture. Chungcheongbuk is a region with a beautiful natural environment and is famous for its agricultural products, culture, and art. When I first arrived in Yamanashi, I experienced the region's great landscape and the sweet smell of fruits...it is certainly a place with many treasures.

Hello everyone! My name is Cai Hu and I am from Sichuan Province, China. It's nice to meet you all. I studied Japanese language and culture at university for 4 years and have always been very interested in the beautiful sceneries and traditional cultures in Japan. I am really honoured to have this opportunity to come to Japan and Yamanashi as an Exchange Employee. In the upcoming year, I would like to fully enjoy the beautiful sceneries of Yamanashi, to taste delicious Japanese food, and to learn about Japan’s advanced culture. Moreover, I want treasure every single encounter here with others. This will not only be a great experience for me, but also a very important way to promote the friendship between Yamanashi and Sichuan. After I go back to Sichuan, I will pass on my experience in Yamanashi to the people of Sichuan, thereby contributing to the development of a deeper understanding of Yamanashi and Japan.
