Hello! My name is Jenka Eusebio, the Yamanashi Prefectural Office's American Coordinator of International Relations. Born and raised near Washington D.C, I loved going into the city to visit art galleries and museums. For college, I attended the University of Michigan, where I pursued literature and creative writing. I also had the opportunity to study abroad at the University of Tokyo and participate in the 59th Japan-America Student Conference, where I learned the importance of fostering intercultural relations. I am happy to be assigned in the beautiful prefecture of Yamanashi, which is quite different from anywhere I had ever lived.

Olá! Tudo bem? I am Érica Tanaka, a third –generation Japanese-Brazilian from São Paulo, and Coordinator for International Relations in Yamanashi Prefecture since 2005. My background as an educator in Brazil has given me the foundation to help build a multicultural Yamanashi where you'll find integration and comprehension of cultural diversity. My grandfather, who emigrated to Brazil, struggled for the spread of Japanese education and culture in Brazil. A century later, I am in Japan with a similar duty – introducing Brazil to the residents of Japan, distributing information to the Brazilians that live here, and strengthening and reinforcing the Nipo-Brazilian relationship. On my fourth year as a CIR, and during this momentous Japan-Brazil Year of Exchange and centennial of the start of Japanese immigration to Brazil, I am looking forward to getting Yamanashi residents closer to the Brazilians living in the prefecture and all over the world through our home page.

Hello everyone ! I’m Victor Balsan, Coordinator for International Relations in Yamanashi since august 2009!
I came from Paris, France, where I had been studying Japanese Language and Civilisation at Paris 7 University. I graduated with a masters degree in June 2009.
I’m working at the Yamanashi International Center, where I learn new things everyday. My job consists of making Yamanashi locals and foreigners getting closer to each other, and maintaining relationships between Yamanashi and other countries, particularly France. In this perspective, Yamanashi prefectural home page is a unique opportunity to share with you the wonderful aspects of my new living place.
Don’t hesitate to surf on our home page. You will be able to find a lot of information about the prefecture, its places of interest, foreigner life, relationships with other countries, etc. You can also contact us for any questions or suggestions.
See you in Yamanashi!!

Annyeong haseyo, everybody! I'm Chae Hyeon-sook, an exchange employee from Chungcheongbuk-do in South Korea. Chungcheongbuk is a beautiful province known for its delicious fruits and rice. The area is currently developing as a Special Economic Province, making full use of its convenient transportation networks and topography. I wanted to come to Yamanashi because there are so many similarities between our two regions that I feel an affinity with the prefecture. I hope to introduce a lot about Chungcheongbuk-do, and also learn a lot about Japan. And I hope to exchange lots of information through these web pages. Please, knock on the door and come on in! We'll be waiting for you here at the website.

Hello everyone! My name is Jia Man Lin. I was born in Southern China, and moved to Toronto, Canada with my family at the age of 13. Most of my friends call me 'Mandy.' I double majored in Criminology and Psychology at the University of Toronto in Canada, so it is not hard to imagine me watching all the episodes of CSI and Law & Order. I enjoy learning languages. I am working on my Japanese and would love to pick up more French along the way. I also love traveling and photography. During my one year as an exchange student in Japan, I visited over 30 cities in Hokkaido, Kanto, Kansai, Shikoku, Chugoku, Kyushu and Okinawa, and collected countless shots in my camera.
