My name is Kendra, and I’m from the United Kingdom. I live in Kofu City. I enjoy living in Yamanashi Prefecture! In the UK, the land is mostly very flat, but in Yamanashi we are surrounded by beautiful mountains. Yamanashi is especially lucky to have Mt. Fuji, a famous symbol of Japan. There are lots of trees and plants as well. I think living in a natural place like Yamanashi is very nice. I also really like the fruit! Japanese grapes and British grapes are very different, but I think Japanese grapes taste the best, because they have a strong avour. The people in Yamanashi are very kind, and I am sure I will make many friends here. I hope to spend seeing all the different sights of Yamanashi Prefecture, including the Fuji Five Lakes and the Shosen Waterfall.
